Club Membership


We have various types of membership, which allows you to choose the extent of your involvement in the club
Yearly rates
Full membership - this gives you full and unlimited access to the club facilities during club nights, as well as the other activities of the club
Full Membership  - standard rate is                               £31.00
(young person membership - 25 or under)               £ 2.00                       
Family & Friends
(full membership for up to three people living at
the same address  i.e. Family or flat-mate                            £45.00
Associate membership
This gives you all the advantages of membership except that we ask you to pay £2.00 for each attendance on club nights.  This is ideal for those who live further away or unable to atttend meetings on a regular basis
Associate Membership standard rate is                  £18.00  
(young person membership - 25 or under - see above) 
Day Membership  £2.00 per night
International rates available on request
Club Magazine
The Club Magazine is published every two months.  Free to members.  It contains the diary of club meetings or visits, as well as topics of news and feature articles from members and other contributors.
OCCASIONAL VISITS are made to various places which are not normally open to the public.  These are normally of a transport interest such as signal boxes, airports and depots, but other interests may be catered for.



Discounted books for members
A LARGE SELECTION of new transports books is available for sale to member at a discount of at least 10%.   Books from all the well-known transport publishers and many of the lesser-known ones can be ordered or bought at the many sales events we attend throughout the year.  On General Club evenings you may browse through out sales stock which also includes birthday cards, maps, posters and many other items of transport interest.
